The Underground Retrocade’s mission is to transport players back to their original arcade experience by featuring games from the golden era, as they were played using the correct cabinets, controls, and displays. We hope to complete the experience with “background ambiance” and decor from the 80’s.

    My personal favorite place to play video games. Video games are arranged somewhat thematically — to the left there are classic Atari games, with the trackball games first. To the right are core classics — Pac-Man games, Galaxian / Galaga games, etc. Small pinball room further down and off to the left. Games from after the North American Video Game Crash of 1983 on the second floor, where there’s also a free jukebox and a party room. Great downtown location with free parking just feet away, an amazing pizza joint on the corner, and a great family-run frozen custard shop down the street.

    Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and usually has some classic ’80s music and/or videos on the AV system.
